@nervmeister: I don't buy it. Every company claims this. The amount of AA they had in the trailer was proof enough it wasn't in-game, but rather in-engine.
All this 4k stuff is nonsense.
I'm guessing you've never seen a 4k screen before.
It's as big a leap from SD to HD. Honest to god, it's incredible.
It's missing Super Smash Bros Brawl. But other than that, it's not far from the mark.
Brawl didn't do anything remotely unique or interesting that defined this gen. If this were a list made in '99 or '00, you'd have a point with SSB.
Off topic, but why is it Americans write the date as month/day/year? Why does this make any sense?
It's because of how "we" say it aloud. "December 1st, 2013" (hence 12/1/13) rolls off the tongue (subjectively) better than "The 1st of December, 2013" (1/12/13).
Whoever wins, we lose. Look at the voting committee.
Official Xbox Magazine:
@lamprey263: Don't you think that makes sense? In the USA the PS4 is practically sold out. It's not like it can sell another million units this week.
@gensigns: there have only been 2 games. Way too early to tell.
Awesome.. continued PS3 support... but because it's coming to PS3.. can we assume the game is almost finished ?
I think we can, yes. It's got a release window, and we know it's been in development for years. There's probably plenty to show... Atlus is just waiting for the right time to show it. Probably by mid 2014 we'll have some footage.
I just want to know when the Western release will be. Dec 2015? Man, no way I could wait for that!
So Valve is asking them to remake THE ENTIRE GAME on the new engine, or just those certain levels. If it's the former, I'm all for it. The latter would kind of mess with the immersion of the game.
This is all one giant test by Valve. Should the Black Mesa devs pull this off, they'll be given the script and concept art of Half-Life 3, and go from there.
Just a reminder that Naughty Dog has 2 development teams.
The Uncharted 1,2, and TLOU team, and the Uncharted 3 team. I'm 99% sure the U3 team is making this new game.
Hopefully this team can learn from their mistakes of the last Uncharted game. It wasn't bad. Not by a long shot- it just didn't do anything all that new, or fun. It felt more of the same.
Polygon don't give endless praise to Sony, that's the only reason a lot of you hate them
Also Arthur Gies =/= Polygon as a whole
Way to miss the point.
