“Based on genre alone, you can tell I like to escape to alternate realities and see and do things we'll never be able to in so called 'real-life'. So I guess I am an escapist who enjoys the fantastical. I also really enjoy shooters of all flavours, especially WW2. I have also fallen back in love with RPGs (my wife is gonna kill me . . ....). I also love anime and blu-ray movies. OK - in for a penny, in for a pound. Quite frankly, I like a LOT of things and do my best to indulge in as many of them as possible. I like to collect things like games, movies, etc. Contrary to popular misconception, you canNOT have too much of a good thing. I have about 1000 DVD movies, 500+ blu-ray movies, 100s of anime series and over 200 PS2 games [ obsessive . .. maybe :D - when I LIKE something, I really like it a lot ]. I like to play guitar. Ironically, I find it easier to really play than to ace out at Guitar Hero. I also like art and photography. I live in a nice quiet neighbourhood in a moderately sized house with a big backyard and a good sized deck and pretty much live back there when the weather is nice. I have a wonderful wife and our 3 cats.
Games are more important than paying for food or paying the bills. The serious collector has made a lifelong investment in the pursuit of having way more games than you do. Ignoring review scores, maintaining few friendships so as not to commit oneself to additional spending on birthdays or holidays, this individual is single-mindedly intent on owning lots and lots of games. A noble pursuit, indeed.
