“40-something hex and counters wargamer ... new (late 2007) to recent XP-era PC based games (but have quite a few DOS & Win95 era games). I prefer historically themed games to anything sci-fi or fantasy (except Star Trek & LOTR). My son is into C&C, BFME and RoN RTS games. I'm currently more into first person, tactical and 3rd person shooters like COD, MOH, Rainbow Six, GRAW, Max Payne and Saboteur. Recently discovered "open world" games like Saboteur, Scarface, GTA3 and GUN. I'm yet to play the Total War, Soldiers, WiC, RfB and Blitzkrieg RTS games that are waiting on the shelf. Still working our way through our growing PC games collection.
