“I have been gaming for nigh on sixteen years, ever since the days as a little kid I used to play Golf on my Grandfather's SNES with my relatives. The year Donkey Kong Country came out, in '94, was a big year in my gaming life. I'm pretty sure it was DKC that sealed the deal as my future as a gamer. My parents bought me a Sega Game Gear the year it was released, I played that system for hundreds of hours. It was about a year after the release of the original Pokemon games that I got a Game Boy. While my Grandfather was in the hospital in '09, my parents rented me a Game Boy and Pokemon Red. My Grandfather died that week, and ever since, the pokemon franchise has held a nastolgic feeling to me... I can't help but think of him whenever I play them. I don't remember the exact year I hopped onto the Playstation franchise and entered into the Final Fantasy series. It was either 99 or '00... I bought VII, VIII and IX in '00 when IX was released. Bummer black label copies of IX aren't worth anything. Though I would never sell it... I have played IX pretty much every summer since I bought it... it has to be my favorite Final Fantasy game to play... even if the story and combat system aren't my favorite. I got my PS2 in '01 with Final Fantasy X... which I put about 120 hours into on my first play through. And that was the end of Final Fantasy being great for me. In '03 I bought a launch XboX along with Halo CE and Elder Scrolls: III Morrowind. Two of my favorite games of all time. Unfortunately, for me only two other great games were released on my XboX, KotoR and KotoR II. My PS2 had the bulk of my gaming time. There was a time where I had 30+ games on the system. Mostly RPG's. I enjoyed playing GTA III and Vice city, not for the gang wars, the police fighting, etc... but for the open world driving.
Hey look, it's a totally original dude wearing armor. With a huge gun and a helmet (a visor?). And he's riding a unicorn. This user was granted this magical emblem for not having any of their user profile images hosted on untrusted websites during The Great Purge of March 2013.
