“I've been playing games since the first Wolfenstein came along, and even before that - games on Yamaha MSX, and even earlier yet - text console based games on ancient machines (Xenon, anyone? :) ) Anyway, I have always valued immersion in the games more than anything else. If a game creates its own unique atmosphere - sold! I mostly love first/third person shooters, where you actually get to run around 3D maps, explore them, and absolutely hate all sports and racing kind of games. My all-time favorites are Half-Life and Far Cry. The first one is one of the most atmospheric games ever, and the second one, while also atmospheric, was the first game with very good graphics. I have both, PS3 and XBOX-360, and while I like PS3 hardware wise, I think that XBOX-360 gives you more bang for your buck, mostly due to the fact that it's easier to develop for, and therefore there are more quality games for it. PS3 is catching up, it seems, now, with titles like Uncharted, Tudok and Devil May Cry 4, but still has a long way to go in terms of online gameplay. Anyway, thanks for dropping by! Hope you like some of my reviews :)
Are you not entertained? I followed 5 games featured at E3 2011 during the week of E3, and have won the favor of the crowd.
