“I am 55 and have 4 children; 3 by marriage, hence the 5 grandchildren I have been on gamespot for a couple of years, and decided to join it so I could keep track of my wants and desires. I had never looked at the forums or reviews, just the news area . I have figured out pretty fast that many on gamespot are teens or in their 20’s. I do feel a bit out of place to say the least, yet I have found it is enjoyable to read how impassioned people are in the games they like. I don’t generally talk gaming with anyone I know, so it is fun I will admit to speak my mind sometimes on a game. I will always give a positive “yes” to any friend review that successfully reflects their passion of the game or the lack there of, for that matter. I am not the buddy pal that many are here, but I will support a fellow gamer. Hope all your games are good ones. Robin
Games are more important than paying for food or paying the bills. The serious collector has made a lifelong investment in the pursuit of having way more games than you do. Ignoring review scores, maintaining few friendships so as not to commit oneself to additional spending on birthdays or holidays, this individual is single-mindedly intent on owning lots and lots of games. A noble pursuit, indeed.
