Popular
Like, totally. Chances are you know individuals who are popular, and if you don't, chances are you wish you did. You wish you could be just like them, don't you? They're the ones who always score the touchdown. They're the ones who always get the girl. Or the boy, as the case may be. Those people and their winning smiles with their bright, white teeth and their clever jokes and their laughing and their personalities and their charm! What makes them so special, huh? What do they have that I don't have, why don't you tell me?!
-
+1 Orator of Distinction
Because while everybody's got an opinion, some are better than others. This illustrious soul has volunteered to grace GameSpot's pages with an unforgettable editorial. It's the very definition of selflessness. Or, in some cases, self-indulgence.
-
Hella Old-School
Been gaming since you were a twinkle in your momma's eye. Those bearing the rare distinction of hella old-school have been gaming practically since the primordial days. What they could have possibly seen in the terrible, old games of yore is anyone's guess, and far be it from these individuals to easily be able to justify why they've managed to waste away so much of their lives racking up millions of points, saving unlimited princesses, and basically just shooting and/or jumping over lots of things.
-
Bad Taste
Bad meaning bad. Those perverse souls who insist on populating their personal collections with the worst kind of games are those with bad taste. Yet these individuals' transcendental pursuit of all that is broken and not fun to play is, perhaps, merely misunderstood. Nevertheless, they deserve recognition in their own way.
-
Serious Collector
Games are more important than paying for food or paying the bills. The serious collector has made a lifelong investment in the pursuit of having way more games than you do. Ignoring review scores, maintaining few friendships so as not to commit oneself to additional spending on birthdays or holidays, this individual is single-mindedly intent on owning lots and lots of games. A noble pursuit, indeed.
