“35 years old. Married to a wonderful woman who has one tragic flaw - she's not a gamer. Been playing video games since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. My first experiences with gaming were on a Magnavox Odyssey2 that belonged to my cousin. Sometime later I received an Atari 2600 for Christmas one year. Gaming has been a constant in my life ever since. Moved on to the NES, then the SNES. Then, in 1996, I switched allegiance to Sony. I've been a Playstation fanboy every since. My current favorite games include the 'Uncharted' series, the 'God of War' series, 'Mass Effect' (although at this point I've only played 2, fallen in love with the universe though), and 'Red Dead Redemption'. Some of my all time favorites include 'Super Castlevania IV', 'Contra' (the original), the 'Legacy of Kain' series (except 'Blood Omen 2', that one kinda sucked), 'Ninja Gaiden' (the original), and 'Deus Ex' to name a few. I generally prefer action/adventure type games and platformers. I'm not big into first-person shooters, but there's a few I like. As far as things that are done out of doors I like baseball and am a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. My favorite musical acts include Coil, Neurosis, Current 93, Ulver, Porcupine Tree, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Silver Mt. Zion. Favorite writers include J.R.R. Tolkien, William Blake, H.P. Lovecraft, George Orwell, John Steinbeck, and Neil Gaiman. Favorite films include 'Taxi Driver', 'Ghost Dog: the Way of the Samurai', 'Conan the Barbarian', 'the Dark Knight', 'This Is Spinal Tap', 'Dog Day Afternoon' and the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. Politically I'm pretty liberal and spiritually I lean towards Buddhism, but I am agnostic as far as the question of God is concerned.
